Virtual Reality à la Virtuelles Studio

Virtual reality is a top issue that appears in the media regularly. Especially in the context of a growing digitalization of industry and trade, virtual reality offers an enormous potential for our clients – and particularly for the automotive industry – which can be exploited with the help of specialized experts like us.

Virtuelles Studio GmbH has recognized this trend very early and for this reason has purchased the developer’s kit of the VR glasses Oculus Rift in order to make first hands-on experiences in this field. Now we are taking our tests to another level: Since the hardware has been refined and improved over the past years and since we regard it as a matter of course to keep our technical equipment up to date, we have added the new version of Oculus Rift and HTC Vive to our VR features.

By testing different combinations of hardware and software thoroughly, we want to find out if the VR glasses harmonize better with a game engine like Unity 3D or Unreal or the visualization software VRED. In our tests we attach great importance to the performance as well as the flexibility of the software, thus the possibility to adjust the software in order to meet modified requirements quickly and efficiently.

Our objective is to establish an innovative “VR room” in our studio in Wolfsburg where we create virtual scenes in high quality in minimum time. Hence we can literally bring projects of our clients into motion.
